Get started with Obsidian

You may have heard that Obsidian is very complicated to set up.

We don’t think that’s true—the ideal setup would be complicated, but that’s true for all tools. It just takes lots of trial and error to get something that works well for you. Instead of complicated, we would call that a labor of love.

Okay, enough for how complicated it can get. The good news is how easy it is to get started: just 3 simple steps!

1. Set up a nice place for yourself
   → Create a vault

2. Jot down some notes
   → Create your first note

3. Let your ideas mingle
   → Link notes
